See How Easy It Is To Look Chic
Here’s a recent pic from The Sartorialist that emphasizes effortless, yet subtle cool. What makes this look, it’s the cut of the jacket, the rolled up sleeves, the cut of the pant and the sockless look, but it’s really tied together with the scarf and watch. Do You Make These Mistakes?
This post has nothing to do with how you dress or how you present yourself, but it’s about how you’re influenced by the people around you. When you’re trying new stuff out, a different style or a new cool piece of clothing, how do others perceive that change?
Do You Take Insults Personally?
It’s hard not to, especially if it comes from your friends or someone with authority. If you do this the biggest problem you’ll have is that you’ll second guess what you’re doing. Are You Eclectic?
Here’s my pick from The Sartorialist for the day. This is a great example of personal eclectic style and not general nor bland by any stretch of the imagination. It’s a tad retro with the jeans and shirt, but modern with shoes and hair style. Then add in a classic peacoat, but with a popped collar for extra flair, and the look is complete.

What Every Man Ought to Know About Layering Clothes
I use to think a collard shirt and jeans was dressed up. These days, I rarely go out of the house with just one item on and with no layers. To do layering right, here’s what you need to know:
Hide Your Weight
Layering is the easiest way to cover up any extra pounds (among other things). If you do it right it’ll make you appear slimmer and not bulky. It’s all about the fit of the pieces you have and how they go together. So if if layer with clothes that are large already, you’ll simply look bulky, but if you layer with clothing thats fitted you look slimmer.
